Touptek planetary and deep-sky Camera -How to successfully photograph planets and nebulae
Imagine you could succeed at taking sharp planetary images at the first attempt - something that every astrophotographer desires. Perhaps you have long experience using simple webcam chips with their noisy images? It's time for a new experience! The Touptek 300KMA planetary camera lets you successfully acquire significantly sharper images - of a quality formerly only possible for experienced planetary photographers.
The advantages in a nutshell:
- maximum resolution - monochrome planetary camera
- as fast as a film - 72 frames per second
- approximately twice as sensitive as a normal camera chips *
- low noise - RMS 4.5-e
- also works perfectly with an IR bandpass filter - for imaging Venus for example
Sony CCD ICX 618 sensor - the way to the perfectly imaged planet.
The ICX 618 CCD sensor is one of the most sensitive on the planetary camera market. While longer exposure times were previously required, this chip takes your favourite objects in virtually no time at all - as high sensitivity means short exposure times. This CCD chip is approximately twice as sensitive as the ICX098BQ* chip which is used in many cameras.
72 frames per second - uses those moments of still air
One of the most important features is the fast readout time, as this camera can acquire up to 72 frames per second. And despite this, the sensitive electronics provide a bright image of your planet. As a comparison - cheap beginner's cameras can only acquire a maximum of 30 frames per second. So it is easy to see why you can so easily acquire sharper images with the Touptek 618.
