Vixen Binoculars ARTES J - Genuine binoculars made in Japan that succeed the Vixen's flagship ARTES
The ARTES J succeeds in all the excellent features provided for the Vixen's highest ARTES binoculars. The ease of use and holding has been pursued thoroughly on the ARTES J to merge excellent optical performance with a user-friendly design. An accurate optical alignment has been made in every single optical unit by craftsmanship to achieve a high level of performance in the field of view.
- ED Objective lens.
With the use of extra-low dispersion glass in the objective lens elements, the ARTES J binoculars deliver outstandingly sharp images free of chromatic aberration.
- Flat multi-coatings.
The flat multi-coatings on the surfaces of the lenses achieve flat and high light transmission throughout the wavelengths of visible rays of light. It contributes to the clear and high contrast of images excellently.
- High reflectivity coatings.
The advanced dielectric coatings are applied to achieve superbly high reflectivity on the prisms.
- Phase coated prisms.
The phase coatings correct the phase shift of the light waves that occur on the edge of roof prisms by reflection. It can achieve image quality of higher contrast and levels and result in extremely bright and sharp images with maximum contrast.
- Oil repellent coatings.
It protects the outer lens surfaces from dirt. You can clean the lenses easily when the surfaces of the lenses are stained with fingerprints or dust particles.
- Open hinge design for firm gripping.
The bridge that joins the two optical barrels of the binocular body is an open hinge type to enhance holding stability by fingers. Its construction fits hands nicely regardless of the person using it and is effective in stopping from shaking.
- Waterproof specification.
The inert nitrogen purged waterproof design ensures use in all weather conditions.
- Adaptability to a camera tripod.
The ARTES J binocular is used on a camera tripod using either a Tripod adapter MH or Stay On case sold separately.
