Precision work, right down to the smallest detail
A number of activities, in the medical technical field for example, place very high demands on the precision of the work carried out. Often, mere fractions of a millimetre will decide whether a work step is successful or not.
Especially in dental work and surgery, users appreciate the advantages of magnifying optical systems and use these to make precision work much easier.
ZEISS KS and KF head magnifiers are used for binocular, stereoscopic close-up vision in technical medical applications.
They consist of a Keplerian binocular telescopic magnifier system which is mounted on a system module. The ZEISS KF titan head magnifier is an spectcle mount with push-on brackets and an elastic retaining strap which is available in different frame sizes. If necessary, the spectacle mount can be fitted with correcting spectacle lenses.
The ZEISS KS head magnifier is worn on the forehead by means of the system module which can be individually adapted to the individual's head. The height positioning and the inclination of the optical system take place via the respective connections to the system module. Adjustment of the interpupillary distance is made via the system's articulated bridge. When required, the telescope magnifier system can be swivelled up out of the way or returned to its working position in front of the face. The optical systems are protected against splashes and mechanical damage by an attached lens protector.
