Illuminated 9x50 finder scope with double crosshair reticule
Only a good finder scope makes locating astronomical objects with the telescope easier.
It collects significantly more light than the naked eye alone, so objects are already visible in the finder scope.
In addition it has an illuminated double crosshair reticule, making it much easier to use at night. The very fine crosshair reticule does not conceal the central object, as is sometimes the case with broader single reticules.
The red LED light source on the side of the scope can be dimmed to maintain dark adaptation. A fold-down eyecup prevents ingress of any lateral stray light. Even spectacle wearers are able to see the entire field of view at once. Alignment is carried out via a spring clamp and two adjustment screws.
