This Polarie Star Tracker accessory allows you easily and safely polar align, without having to aim at Polaris. The inclinometer provides the correct elevation setting that corresponds to the latitude of your location and the compass helps to locate north. Of course, there should be no magnetic fields in the vicinity that could interfere - for example motor vehicles or reinforced concrete structures.
The QPL-compass is easily attached to the accessory shoe on the Polarie. Basically, you can mount the compass on any camera which has an accessory shoe.
