Skywatcher 102mm guide scope - for accurate, fast tracking
Nebula, galaxies, star clusters - if you want to take images of these faint and distant astronomical objects, you will need long exposure times and a suitable guide scope.
With the Skywatcher 102/600mm as a guide scope, you can find a suitable guide star even in regions poor in stars. It collects so much light that finding a suitable star is virtually always possible. The short 600mm focal length also makes it ideal for use combined with an auto guider.
The Skywatcher guide scope is finished in an elegant glossy black with chrome elements. In addition, the mechanical parts of the telescope are precision made. The 2" Linear Power focuser can support even heavy accessories and its 1:10 reduction ratio allows very precise focusing.
Using the mounting block available, the 102mm achromat can be set directly onto the Skywatcher guide scope mount within seconds and is just as easily dismountable. The advantage is that the guide scope does not have to remain permanently mounted.
