SD81S, SD103S and SD115S, these are the new apochromatic refractors from Vixen with super-ED (= SD) glass!
The redesigned lens enlement with FPL-53 glass reduces colour error (chromatic aberration) to a hardly noticeable degree, and ensures an extremely clear and sharp image. In combination with the new optional SD Reducer HD or SD Flattener HD kits, these refractors illuminate and obtain a 44mm image circle for full-frame DSLR cameras. The interior baffles have been optimised for the M8.
The SD apos from Vixen are ideal for astrophotography. Anyone who has ever looked through a Vixen apo will never want to use another telescope, also for visual observation. The practical flip mirror enables the simultaneous connection of an eyepiece at a comfortable viewing angle and a camera.
Another advantage of Vixen’s SD refractors lies in their relatively short length and low weight.
