1.25" TS Optics Colour Filter - Blue
Recommended for use on:
General contrast gain on the moon, off its terminator. Enhances contrast in Jupiter's and Saturn's cloud bands. Enhances surface details on Mars. In large aperture telescopes you may see cloud details on Venus. Good comet filter - boosts contrast in the comet's tail.
TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by permitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a resul the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility.
Quality Features of the TS Optics Colour Filters:
- the filter housing is made of metal and as thin as possible to avoid vignetting.
- the glass used in our filters is very homogenous and parallel
- a very good image quality is promised
- filter threads on both sides allow you to combine different filters. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter.
Combine several colour filters to get even further colour shades:
Each of the 3 different 2" colour filters has a different effect on the image. As a result different filters are used for viewing different details of a planet. By combining two filters you can get additional colour shades. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter with a different shade than the normal green filter.
