2" TS Optics Colour Filter - Green
Recommended for use on:
An important universal contrast filter. Drastically boosts contrast on the Moon - better contrast even far off the terminator - suitable for low magnifications. This filter is especially effective on Jupiter, revealing the famous Great Red Spot and other reddish details in the Jovian atmosphere. White spots in Saturn's atmosphere are enhanced in telescopes of 200mm aperture or larger.
TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by permitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a resul the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility.
Quality Features of the TS Optics Colour Filters:

- filter threads on both sides allow you to combine different filters. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter.

Each of the 3 different 2" colour filters has a different effect on the image. As a result different filters are used for viewing different details of a planet. By combining two filters you can get additional colour shades. For example, a blue filter and a yellow filter combined resemble a green filter with a different shade than the normal green filter.
